Toronto has come in second as the world’s most reputable city out of 100 cities competing for the honour.
Sydney, Australia was second.
Stockholm was third, Vienna was fourth and Venice rounded out the top five in a list released by the Reputation Institute.
The Reputation Institute is a reputation-based advisory firm founded in 1997.
It has offices in 30 countries and also releases reports ranking the world’s most reputable countries.
Canada has claimed the top spot for the last three years.
The institute says having a strong reputation helps to attract foreign knowledge and talent increase exports, improve diplomacy and attract tourists.
