A Toronto artistic director is one of three people short listed for the Siminovitch prize, the most lucrative award in Canadian theatre. Chris Abraham is artistic director of Crow’s Theatre. His “Othello” received rave reviews this summer at the Stratford Festival while his production of “Winners and Losers” recently completed a European tour and opens at Toronto’s Canadian Stage in November. The other two on the list are Marie-Josee Bastien of Quebec City and Benoit Vermeulen of Montreal. The winner of the 2013 Siminovitch Prize will be announced October 21 at a reception in Toronto
