An older Zoomer Toronto peace activist appears in court today for refusing to complete the 2011 short-form census.
Audrey Tobias says she’d rather go to jail than compromise.
The 89-year old faces up to 90 days behind bars and/or a maximum $500-fine, which she says she won’t pay.
Tobias is taking a stand because her questionnaire answers will be processed with software from American military contractor Lockheed Martin.
