Billy Connolly has another medical challenge ahead.

The actor and comedian has been diagnosed with “the initial symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease.” He’s undergoing treatment.

Connolly also had surgery recently for prostate cancer.

But the medical treatments aren’t slowing down his work schedule. He’s about to tour New Zealand, he will start filming a TV series shortly, and he’s working on Peter Jackson’s movie trilogy based on J.R.R. Tolkein’s The Hobbit.

Billy Connolly also starred in Dustin Hoffman’s directorial debut, The Quartet, which was released in January.
