Senator Pamela Wallin has come up with the cash.

Actually it’s a cheque – for $100,600  plus interest.

The money is a pay-back to the government for Wallin’s dubious travel claims.

Senator Wallin has already paid back $38,000

The Senate called in the RCMP after an audit questioned a number of travel claims spanning nearly all of  Wallin’s career as a senator – which began late in 2008.

Wallin denounces the audit as “fundamentally flawed and unfair.”
