Hercule Poiro will sleuth again.
Agatha Christie’s estate has commissioned crime novelist and poet Sophie Hannah to write a new book featuring the Belgian detective.
It will be the first novel sanctioned by the Agatha Christie estate to carry on the work of the author who died in 1976.
And it comes 90 years after Christie introduced Poiro in the novel The Mysterious Affair at Styles
Christie’s grandson, Mathew Prichard says the estate hopes a new novel based on Christie’s characters will introduce her books to new generations.
