The Prime Minister says Canada has no plans for military intervention in Syria.  At a news conference in Toronto today  Stephen Harper said Canada supports its allies  who are contemplating attacks against that country’s regime.

He says the conflict is sectarian in nature and doesn’t appear to have an ideal solution right now.

But he says if no international action is taken against the apparent use of chemical weapons  a risky precedent would be set.

The Prime Minister also talked about Federal Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau’s admission that he used marijuana  even after becoming a member of parliament.

Harper says Trudeau’s pot use three years ago is sending the wrong message to children.

The Prime Minster says he’s been asthmatic from a young age and hasn’t smoked marijuana or anything else.
