Hollywood’s African-American community will be well-represented at today’s 50th anniversary of the March on Washington.

On August 28th, 1963, Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his historic “I Have a Dream” speech on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington. Today, the co-stars of the current hit movie, The Butler, Oprah Winfrey and Forest Whitaker, will both speak at the event. Much of the movie is set during those turbulent times.

President Barack Obama will also speak, along with former presidents Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter. A variety of entertainers will also perform, including Peter Yarrow and Paul Stookey, who sang at the original march as part of Peter, Paul and Mary.
