U-S telecom giant Verizon may hold back for a while in trying to enter the Canadian market – by buying Wind Mobile and Mobilicity.
Reports say the huge company is going to wait until after a Canadian government auction of wireless licences in January.
Bell, Telus and Rogers oppose Verizon entering Canada but the Harper government says the proposal would boost competition and lower cellphone rates.
