For Vinyl record collectors, New York City’s Lincoln Center is the place to be his weekend. The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts is selling 22,000 thousand records that are duplicates of others in its collection; albums that were donated to the library. The three-day sale offers mostly classical recordings, but jazz, show tunes and other genres are represented. All the records including boxed sets are available for one dollar each. Proceeds from the sale will go toward preserving the library’s collection as well as new acquisitions.
