Here’s a heads-up on a traffic closure in the busy downtown core.

The intersection at Spadina and  King is going to be closed for two weeks beginning next Tuesday.

The intersection will be closed in all  directions for TTC track replacement work from Tuesday, August 6th  at 10 a.m until  Tuesday, August 20th at 6 a.m.

Alternative eastbound and westbound routes include Front Street, Adelaide Street and Queen Street.

And for northbound and southbound traffic Bathurst Street and University Avenue are alternatives.

Here’s another area to avoid.

The intersection of Eastern Avenue and Cherry Street in the east end.

It will be closed in all four directions for TTC streetcar track work from tomorrow August 2nd  at 9:30 a.m. to Tuesday, August 6th  at 5 a.m.

In addition, vehicles travelling on the Don Valley Parkway ramp to Richmond Street will not be able to access Eastern Avenue.

Local access will be maintained during the construction period.
