A cool dip in the lake is just the tonic on a hot and humid day like today.
And that’s exactly what five women are doing as they try to make history.
They’re attempting a relay swim – the length of Lake Ontario over five days.
They started earlier today in Kingston.
The goal is to finish the 305 kilometre swim Saturday afternoon in Burlington.
The women range in age from 18 to 61.
The swim is raising money for the charity “Because I’m a Girl” which aims to end gender inequality and protect girls’ rights.
