Beginning Saturday, Go Transit will increase service along its Lakeshore line to every half hour from once an hour. Ontario’s Transportation Minister says that will more than double the number of train trips a week along the line. He says that in turn will make it easier from people from Hamilton in the West to Oshawa in the east to get around the GTA. The minister says it also means that riders won’t have to worry about schedules any more since trains will come and go at set times twice an hour. More than 100,000 commuters use the Lakeshore line every weekday.
