Good news for readers of the Canadian Jewish News.
The paper is going to continue.
Two months ago C-J-N announced it was going to stop printing after 42 years – the victim of a weak advertising market and changing reader habits.
But today the award winning community newspaper is telling clients and the community at large that it will carry on – due to an overwhelming outpouring of support.
The paper has engaged an outside consultant with expertise in the newspaper industry and has accepted his business plan to take the publication forward in the long term.
The Canadian Jewish News has an official circulation of over 39,000 and is read by more than 200,000 people each week.
