Toronto Mayor Rob Ford says he does not use crack cocaine — nor is he an addict.

He says it has not been an easy week in the wake of allegations of a cellphone video that shows him smoking crack cocaine.

Ford says he cannot comment on a video he hasn’t seen or that does not exist.

And he says he didn’t comment on the allegations for a week on the advice of his lawyer.

Ford — who didn’t take any questions — thanked Toronto residents for their outpouring of support.
