The LCBO is advising people to stock up before the Victoria Day Long Weekend and next Friday’s strike or lockout deadline.

LCBO spokeswoman Heather MacGregor says  neither side appears optimistic that a tentative deal will be reached ahead of the holiday.

Outstanding issues include wages and benefits, job security and improvements to health and safety standards.

Negotiations with the Ontario Public Service Employees continue.
