DOW MAKES HISTORY - HITS 15,000 MARK

North American stock markets moved higher after a surprise improvement in the U-S jobless rate helped the Dow Jones industrials hit new highs.
The U-S government reported a big pickup in hiring at employers, which pushed the unemployment rate to a four-year low.
That helped send the Dow above 15-thousand for the first time, though it pulled back from its highs, closing up 142 points to 14,974.

In Toronto, S&P/TSX composite index ended ahead 58 points at 12,438.

Meanwhile , BlackBerry users were hit with yet another a service outage in the morning, though the company would not say how widespread the problem was or how many users were affected.
