Immigration Minister Jason Kenney wants some answers in light of revelations Canada tried to deport an alleged terrorist in 2004.

Federal authorities tried to force Raed Jaser  out of the country because of fraud convictions, but were unsuccessful because he is a stateless Palestinian with no home country.

Jaser and Chiheb Esseghaier  of Montreal will be back in court next month on terrorism-related charges in what the R-C-M-P says was a plot guided by al-Qaida elements in Iran to derail a Via Rail train.
