Plans are in the works for a tribute night to Stompin’ Tom Connors  near his boyhood home of Skinner’s Pond, P-E-I.

The tribute to the Canadian country-folk legend  will be held at the Tignish Legion on May 4th.

In keeping with Stompin’ Tom’s wishes any donations received in his name will go to food banks.

Stompin’ Tom died last month at the age of 77.
