Ontario’s public secondary teachers have reached a tentative agreement on a collective agreement with the province.
Ken Coran is President of the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation.
He says elements of Bill 115 that ordered teachers back to work have been altered.
Today’s agreement reportedly also contains an increase in payouts for new teachers’ unused sick days.
The union has also said that the new deal wouldn’t require any new money from the province.
Members will vote on whether to accept the deal on April 18th.
