Premier Christy Clark says she’s accepted all of the recommendations from a report into a scandal over a plan by the B-C Liberal party to win ethnic votes.
The report by Clark’s deputy says the party misused government resources when it hatched the plan, including having one bureaucrat Brian Bonney spend half his time working on the party’s program.
Clark says the Liberals have now repaid the government for Bonney’s time.
Bonney has since resigned along with Clark’s deputy chief of staff Kim Haakstad, and her former multiculturalism minister John Yap who also quit will not stand for re-election.
