The Toronto Transit Commission is making another attempt to improve its customer service image.
The TTC will unveil a new Customer Charter today.
It’s the latest attempt by Toronto’s public transit agency to show it is dedicated to improving its performance. The charter will include a promise to clean all the subway stations this year. Performance results of all bus and streetcar routes will be posted on the website. And it promises improved response to subway disruptions.
The TTC is following other transit systems in posting a passenger bill of rights. GO Transit and London’s underground have made similar promises.
