Senator Patrick Brazeau has entered a not guilty plea to charges of assault and sexual assault.
The 38-year-old was charged earlier this month after a 9-1-1 call brought police to his home in Gatineau, Quebec.
Brazeau was expelled from the Conservative caucus by Prime Minister Stephen Harper and was later forced by his fellow Senators to take a leave of absence.
He continues to collect his 132-thousand-dollar salary.
