The Art Gallery of Ontario has named Andrew Hunter as its new Curator of Canadian Art.

He will oversee the AGO’s Canadian collection of close to 16,000 works of art.

Hunter has held curatorial positions at the Vancouver Art Gallery, Art Gallery of Hamilton, the McMichael Canadian Art Collection and Charlottetown’s Confederation Centre Art Gallery.

He’s also taught at OCAD University and the University of Waterloo.
