Energy Minister Bob Chiarelli says more documents have been uncovered surrounding two cancelled gas plants.
He says he was notified last night about the documents and will table them in the legislature as soon as thisĀ afternoon.
It’s another blow to the embattled Liberals, who are already facing a contempt motion over their initial reluctance to release documents related to the plants.
Last September, they told the legislature that all the documents had been released, only to find another 20,000 pages a month later.
But the opposition parties insisted there were more documents and the Liberals were hiding them.
It’s the third batch of papers to be released by the government.
