Arts and Culture are vital to Ontario’s tourism industry.

That’s according to new report commissioned by The Ontario Arts Council.

The numbers show  20% of visitors to this province participate in cultural activities – and most of them – two thirds are Canadians taking a domestic holiday to see a show or catch an exhibit.

23% of cultural tourists are American and 11% are from overseas.
