After another long meeting behind closed doors, the Toronto District School Board agreed on who will run Canada’s largest school board, at least for now.
Following the resignation of Director of Education Chris Spence over a plagiarism scandal, the trustees voted to off the job to Spence’s Deputy, Donna Quan.
Quan will become Interim Director while the board begins a search for permanent Director of Education.
Bolton says, despite recent problems at the TDSB, he thinks the job is an attractive one.
The TDSB has faced a number of issues, including Spence’s resignation, and over-spending on a new school that led the province to freeze its capital grant.
