The wheels are in motion to get a shortened N-H-L season under way sometime next week after a tentative deal was reached to end the 113-day lockout.
Owners and players will spend the next couple of days voting on the 10-year deal that was reached early Sunday morning.
It’s expected to be ratified by both sides.

Leafs captain Dion Phaneuf hopes they’re in a forgiving mood.
The puck would likely drop on a 50-game season next week Tuesday, while a 48-game season would probably start on Saturday the 19th.
