A beloved British children’s author is being honoured by Westminster Abbey.
The abbey has announced that a memorial to C.S. Lewis will be installed in Poet’s Corner.
A service will take place one year from today to mark the 50th anniversary of his death.
Lewis is best known for his Chronicles of Narnia series that has sold more than 100 million copies worldwide and has recently received big-budget movie treatments.
With his addition to Poet’s Corner, Lewis will join the likes of John Keats, William Blake, and T.S. Eliot in a tradition going back 600 years.
