Grey Cup fever is building in Toronto!

One of the many events leading up to Sunday’s 100th Grey Cup game was a gigantic pep rally at Yonge-Dundas Square Tuesday night. The team members were introduced one-by-one to a huge crowd of cheering fans.

Argo Chad Owens says the excitement is great for the team, and the fans.  “What I’m envisioning when I look out onto this crowd is history, love and support.  It’s our moment but it’s for the fans too.  We just feel so happy that we’re able to provide this for them.”

The Calgary Stampeders have arrived in town to prepare for Sunday’s 100th Grey Cup game.

The teams get down to business with practices at Rogers Centre today.

If you live outside Toronto and are lucky enough to have tickets for the big game, or just want to be in the area on game day, your transportation options have increased. GO Transit will run extra trains on Sunday.

A train will travel into Toronto on each GO line before the game and depart Union Station after the game ends.

There will be extra service on the Lakeshore east and west lines and special trips on the Milton, Kitchener, Barrie, Richmond Hill and Stouffville lines.
