The candidates for President of the United States debated their foreign policy stances last night in Boca Raton, Florida.

Most polls gave President Barrack Obama the edge in the debate, defending his foreign policy from attacks by  Republican challenger Mitt Romney.

One exchange excited the social media. Romney criticized Obama because the US navy has fewer ships now than it did during the First World War.

Obama said the army also has “fewer horses and bayonets” and that the navy now has “things called aircraft carriers where planes land on them.”

“Horses and Bayonets” became a top-trending topic on both Twitter and Facebook.

Americans will elect their President November 6th.
