It’s being described as a blockbuster summer hit.
Over 300-thousand people attended the Art Gallery of Ontario’s exhibition of Picasso masterpieces from the artist’s private collection.
That made the show the fourth highest-attended exhibition in the AGO’s history – after the monumental King Tut exhibition of 1979, The Barnes Exhibit in 1994, and King Tut: The Golden King and the Great Pharaohs in 2009.
The 141 Picasso works have moved on to Milan their last world tour stop before returning to the Picasso Museum in Paris.
