Toronto residents, local politicians and Toronto police alike seem to be in agreement; Mayor Rob Ford should have a driver.  The reaction comes following an incident Tuesday morning when someone tweeted a photo of the Mayor seemingly reading while behind the wheel.  While announcing his Chicago trade mission, Mayor Ford admitted it was probably him.

The photo was said to be taken around 10 am Tuesday on the eastbound Gardiner Expressway around Jameson while traffic was moving at about 70 kilometres an hour.  Both the Mayor’s brother, Councillor Doug Ford and councillor Michael Thomspon say Rob Ford should have a driver.

Mayor Ford has always insisted that he doesn’t need a chauffeur.  This is the third time in just over a year he’s been accused of unsafe or distracted driving.
