Polish up your piano skills.

You may  come across a piano in Toronto during the next few weeks …where there wasn’t  one before.

” You can play it.   It’s yours.”

That’s the name of a new art  installatiion  to celebrate the  start of the three-year countdown… to the 2015 Pan-Am games.

The project was started in Birmingham in 2008 by  British artist Luke Jerram.

Don Shipley is the 2015 Pan Am Games creative director of arts and culture.

He’s giving the project a Pan- Am twist.

41 pianos designed by 41  artists representing all 41 pan-am countries will be located in 41 landmark locales across the GTA.

The pianos will be shown off at a concert at David Pecaut Square  at Metro Hall Tueday night July 10th  at 8 o’clock.
