Now that the rescue and recovery operation is complete at the site of a shopping mall collapse in Elliot Lake, Ontario, residents are calling for accountability.
Efforts to find survivors ended yesterday with the removal of two bodies — both women.
Residents say many questions linger about how the disaster happened and the emotional roller-coaster ride that followed as they clung to hope that crews would find survivors in the rubble.
Premier Dalton McGuinty promises those questions will be answered.
