While saying she’s making good progress, Kate Middleton adds in a social media post that she’s ”not out of the woods yet.”



The Princess of Wales also announcing in a statement that that she will attend Saturday’s ‘Trooping the Colour’ ceremony – marking the 76th birthday of father-in-law, King Charles, and hopes to join ”a few” other public engagements over the summer.

After revealing in March that she was undergoing chemotherapy for an unspecified form of cancer, Kate now says things are going well.

”But as anyone going through chemotherapy will know, there are good days and bad days.”

As for her diagnosis and treatment, the princess says treatment is ongoing and ”will be for a few more months.”

She just can’t believe the number of people who’ve reached out.

”I have been blown away by all the kind messages of support and encouragement over the last couple of months.

It really has made the world of difference to William and me and has helped us both through some of the harder times.”

Kate adds she is also learning how to be a patient, especially given uncertainty.

”Taking each day as it comes, listening to my body, and allowing myself to take this much needed time to heal.”
