U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken says the war in Gaza will go on, after the Hamas terror group proposed “numerous” changes to a U.S.-backed cease-fire plan.

He says some were “workable” and some not.

Speaking to reporters in Qatar Wednesday, Blinken said the U.S. and other mediators will keep trying to “close this deal.”

The initial proposal calls for a three-phase plan that begins with a six-week ceasefire and the release of some hostages in exchange for Palestinian prisoners.

Israeli forces would withdraw from populated areas and Palestinian civilians would be allowed to return to their homes.

Meantime, as we’ve been reporting on Zoomer Radio and Classical FM News, Lebanon’s Hebollah terror group has fired a massive barrage of 170 rockets into northern Israel during a two hour period.

And according to the Israel Defense Forces, 100 were fired into Israel late Tuesday.

It is a major escalation along Israel’s northern border with Lebanon.

Hezbollah says it is retaliation for an Israeli air strike that killed one of its top ranking commanders.

Hezbollah is an ally of Hamas. It has traded fire with Israel nearly every day since the war in Gaza began after the October 7th attacks on Israel.
