Christmas is still almost six weeks away and guess which two songs are already charting in England.

Mariah Carey and George Michael and Wham are already numbers 37 and 40 on the UK Top 40 charts.  That’s two weeks earlier than last year when they didn’t register till the end of the third week in November.

And both songs will be played over and over until December 25th.

Three years ago “All I Want for Christmas” became a UK Number One for the first time, 26 years after it was first released.

Shortly after, Wham!‘s ‘Last Christmas’ reached Number One in the UK for the first time, 36 years after it was first released.

At the moment they are the the only Christmas songs charting in the UK.
