After releasing an American mother and her daughter, Hamas has now handed over two Israeli women for ”humanitarian and health reasons” following Qatari and Egyptian mediation.
They’ve been identified as 79-year-old Nurit Cooper and 85-year-old Yocheved Lifshitz.

”I can confirm that my mother Yochi (Yocheved) Lifshitz was one of two hostages released to the Red Cross,” her daughter Sharone said in a statement.
“While I cannot put into words the relief that she is now safe, I will remain focused on securing the release of may father and all those — some 200 innocent people — who remain hostages in Gaza.”
Israel’s military now says it’s believed 222 people were taken to Gaza during the Hamas massacre October 7.
Meanwhile, Israel’s defense minister says the country’s preparing for a ”multilateral operation” from the ”air, ground and sea.”
Israel’s vowed to wipe out the terrorist group that controls Gaza.
