Canada Post is honouring one of Canada’s most celebrated actors with a stamp bearing his profile.

88-year-old New Brunswick native and Oscar and Golden Globe winner Donald Sutherland says it’s a big deal.

The stamp depicts Sutherland in profile, overlaid with the titles of some of his most iconic projects, including ”Ordinary People,” ”The Italian Job” and ”MASH.”

Sutherland is a graduate of both the University of Toronto and the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.

He is a Companion of the Order of Canada and was inducted into Canada’s walk of Fame in 2000.
