Canada’s largest airline is cancelling all direct flights to and from Tel Aviv through at least the end of the month.
The suspension comes amid fears the fighting between Israel and Hamas terrorists could escalate into a regional war.
Air Canada says it’s monitoring things and will resume its routes from Toronto and Montreal once the situation stabilizes.
The airline typically flies to Tel Aviv from Toronto daily and from Montreal three times per week.
Passengers whose trips through October 31 were scrubbed have the option of receiving a refund or rebooking.
Air Canada joins a number of airlines that have suspended flights to Israel, including the largest south of the border, British Airways, Air France and Lufthansa.
