After walking the picket line for 146-days, paralyzing Hollywood and shutting down production, the Writers Guild and studios have reached a tentative contract agreement.
The union calls the agreement “exceptional,” but is withholding details pending ratification. Voting on the three year deal could start as early as tomorrow.
However, Hollywood actors remain on strike and it’s estimated the shutdown has cost Los Angeles some $5-billion in economic activity.
