It would appear a record number of people heeded this year’s call go to the Ex.

If fact this year’s edition of the annual Canadian National Exhibition recorded its highest attendance in 25 years.

The CNE has confirmed a final attendance of more than 1.6 million visitors for the 144th edition of the fair.

And that is good news since a 2022 study indicated that the Ex brings a yearly economic impact of around $112 million to the GTA and more than $140-million for the province.
