Doug Ford’s lost another member of his inner circle over the controversial Greenbelt land swap.
Kaleed Rasheed has resigned as Minister of Public and Business Service Delivery and also has quit the PC caucus to sit as an Independent MPP for Mississauga East – Cooksville.
He reportedly gave the provincial integrity commissioner the wrong dates for a trip to Vegas, where he socialized with a developer three-years ago.
The Premier’s office has issued a statement.
”If Mr. Rasheed can clear his name through the office of the integrity commissioner, he will be provided an opportunity to return to cause.”
The statement also promises a replacement minister ”in the coming days.”
