No. Classical music is not going to the dogs but they are an integral part of “The Hunting Symphony,” which was written by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart’s father Leopold.
A classical music festival in Copenhagen, Denmark opened with that selection and three canine additions to the orchestra.
Chief conductor Adam Fischer auditioned dozens of dogs for the role; noting the composer’s wish that a part of the symphony should be accompanied by baying hounds.
The dogs went through three months of training to learn to bark on cue and to remain silent for the rest of the performance.
