The co-founder of the Montreal disco powerhouse “Lime” has died.

Producer and creator Denis LePage drew revellers to the dance floor in the heart of Montreal 1980s nightlife with a stream of Billboard chart hits.

Lepage and his wife and partner Denyse helped define an era of disco in Canada.

Denis LePage died of cancer last week in Montreal.

He was 74.
