Updated designs for Ontario Place have been released following criticism of the original plans that called for a private spa.

Architect Gary McCluskie says the primary focus comes down to this …

”Two-thirds of the space is water slides, wave pools, indoor-outdoor deck spaces,” McCluskie told ”Fight Back” with Libby Znaimer on Zoomer Radio.

”Family recreation is at the core of the experience that most folks will come to experience. 

So that water park experience which many folks, including myself, will recall was one of the great summer activities at Ontario Place.

It was sort of one of our annual rites of summer.”

Norm Di Pasquale told ”Fight Back” he’s curious to hear what city staff think about the new designs.

But the co founder of “Ontario Place for All” says ”a lot of the problems and fundamental issues” that his group highlighted at the beginning of the process, remain.
