Russian soprano Anna Netrebko is in the news again.

A scheduled October performance by the opera singer in Prague has been canceled.

The announcement came after the government said that it and its coalition partners opposed the concert at a time when Russia is waging war on Ukraine.

It’s understood that, unlike what happened when Netrebko was dropped by the Metropolitan Opera in New York, this time, she will not demand compensation.
