VINTAGE COMPUTER THAT HELPED LAUNCH OF APPLE EMPIRE ON SALE AT BOSTON AUCTION

An Apple-1, restored to a fully operational state that comes with a custom-built case with built-in keyboard, is on the block through August 24.
RR Auction in Boston says ”it is the legendary computer that launched Apple.”
Originally, they sold for around $666, but this one’s expected to possibly go for $200,000.
A prototype went for nearly $700,000 last year.
About 200 were built in Steve Jobs’s California garage in 1976 and ’77.
It was followed by the Apple-2 in 1977 which revolutionized personal computing.
