It’s that time of year when hiring gets underway for the Canadian National Exhibition.

On Wednesday August 2nd, The Ex is hosting an in-person job fair for those who would like to work over the 18-day event which begins August 18th.

Candidates of all abilities and work experience are invited to apply for various volunteer and paid positions from gate attendants, midway staff, cleaners, food prep and cashiers.

The CNE Job fair takes place from 1pm to 5pm Wednesday August 2nd at Enercare Centre, Hall C at Exhibition Place, where 30 vendors will be conducting interviews.

A news release says the CNE and its partners generate more than 5000 jobs each year and is one of the largest youth employers in the city.
